Root Canal Therapy

Keep your damaged or infected teeth for as long as possible with gentle root canal therapy (endodontics). Root canal therapy is completed on teeth that have been severely broken down, irreversibly inflamed or infected. This treatment is considered a last alternative to save a tooth.

During a root canal procedure, the pulp and nerves are removed, then the inside of the tooth is disinfected and sealed. If infected teeth are not treated, they would usually become badly infected and must be removed.

At Amazing Dental, root canal therapy is performed under local anaesthetic to prevent discomfort during the procedure. Special dental laser-assisted protocols (PIPS and SWEEPS) are also performed to ensure further tooth disinfection and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
