Dr Johnny Chan
Dr Chan is a qualified General Dentist with over 20 years of General Dental experience. He is also a qualified Implantologist with many years’ experience in placing dental implants to replace missing teeth and implant-supported dentures. As well as General Dentistry, Dr Chan provides:

Originally from Hong Kong, Dr Chan moved to Australia in 1988 with his parents and sister. After completing his HSC, Dr Chan began dental training at The University of Sydney. In 1997, Dr Chan graduated with double degrees in Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science,dental research. After graduation, Dr Chan worked in many different locations throughout NSW. In 2007, Dr Chan opened his Dental Surgery in Nowra NSW.
Since graduating double degrees in Dentistry and research in science, Dr Chan’s approach to dentistry is “to provide the best service by continued learning from the best”.
After attending numerous postgraduate courses as well as working with some well-known Dentists and Orthodontists in Australia and around the world, Dr Chan decided not to build ‘just another’ dental practice in the Shoalhaven area.
He has equipped his surgery with the latest ‘state of the art’ technology in a friendly and caring environment.
Dr Chan’s recent qualifications include; postgraduate diploma in Dental Implant and a Masters in Laser Dentistry.
He is continuing to educate himself in sleep medicine from the University of Sydney, and the international qualification of Master in laser from RWTH University, which is one of the two universities in the world that can grant that qualification.
He’s also involved in sharing his laser knowledge to others through workshops and assisting teaching orthodontic courses conducted by the ADA.
Dr Chan speaks both English and Cantonese, lives locally and believes in giving back to the community in the way of sponsorship of local organisations, athletes and sports teams.
Dr Peter Terzi
Dr Peter Terzi completed a Doctor of Dental Medicine, at the University of Western Australia. After graduation, he served as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Navy.
Peter enjoys all forms of dentistry and has a particular passion in preventative and aesthetic dentistry. Peter has worked in Vietnam where he completed a mini residency in Oral Surgery and Dento-Alviolar Extractions.
Peter has been awarded a scholarship with the International Association for Dental Research for his studies utilizing electron microscopy to analyse tooth mineral density for paediatric patients.
He is highly efficient in coordinating complex treatment planning and medical management. Peter is currently studying to become a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Prior to becoming a Dentist, Peter was a Registered Nurse with a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care, and a member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys four-wheel driving, camping, surfing and all kinds of water sports. He has a King Charles Cavalier that follows him on every adventure.
